Aignish On The Machair

Aignish On The Machair

When day and nightare over,
And the world is done with me,
Oh carry me Westand lay me
In Aignish, Aignish by the sea.

And never heedme lying
Among the an cient dead,
Beside the whitesea breakers,
And sand drift over head

The grey gulls wheeling ever,
And the wide arch of sky,
Oh Aignish, Aignish on the Mach air,
And quiet, quiet there to lie.
